I am beyond inspired by the enthusiasm surrounding our creative cookery classes over the past two months. We are ecstatic to have this opportunity to inspire health in the kitchen with some truly wonderful people. Our healthy cooking classes are designed to not only educate how to choose ingredients and use food to promote wellbeing, but also awaken our connection with food and tune into our senses. Our bodies have an innate desire to heal and if we listen, there are often subtle clues helping us be our most vibrant selves.
Many of us lack the time or the confidence to experiment with new foods or new recipes or are unsure how to decipher what foods are best for ourselves or family. We began the The FoodRemedy Creative Cookery Classes to provide a space in Cork for just this. People can join us for 2 hours every Wednesday night to play in the kitchen, meet new friends, enjoy good food, take home great nutrition tips, be inspired and take that step toward a healthier lifestyle.
We are two passionate chefs, a vegan and a carnivore, offering perspective, balance and years of experience cooking and healing through food. Fanny Binder from Food4TheSoul is a Vegan Chef and Nutritional Cooking Advisor and Tara Zuluaga Dorgan from Root Health Naturopathic Nutrition is a former chef, and always a food lover and Nutritional Therapist.
If you haven’t made it to one of these great Wednesday night events, this month’s line up will be well worth the effort.
